Bacon & Lentil Soup

Ingredients

  • 450g Hodghurst Farm Streaky Bacon, rind removed and chopped into small pieces
  • 1 Onion, roughly chopped
  • 1 Stick Celery, chopped
  • 1 Sweet Potato, roughly chopped
  • 1 Potato, roughly chopped
  • 1 Carrot, roughly chopped
  • 75g Lentils

Method

  1. Cook bacon and onion in a saucepan
  2. Add veg and lentils
  3. Cover with water, bring to the boil and then simmer for 1-2 hours until lentils are tender.
  4. Puree until smooth
